How Pithyka collects, uses, and protects your information — written to be read, not just filed away.
Last updated: September 2026
This policy describes how Pithyka handles information from visitors, hosts, guests, and newsletter subscribers on pithyka.com.
We collect what you give us: account details when you register as a host, event and guest information you enter, RSVP responses submitted by your guests, and your email address if you subscribe to the newsletter. Standalone tools store their data in your browser and in the share link — not on our servers.
We use the information to operate the Service: delivering invitations and RSVP updates, sending the newsletter you confirmed you wanted, and improving the product. We do not sell or rent personal information.
We use self-hosted, privacy-friendly analytics (Umami) to understand aggregate site usage. It does not use tracking cookies and does not collect personal identifiers.
Data is stored with reputable cloud providers and protected with reasonable technical and organisational measures. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
We rely on third parties for authentication (Clerk), email delivery (our TosSend service), and payment processing where applicable. Each handles data under its own privacy policy.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. Newsletter subscribers can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the Service or legal requirements. The latest revision date is shown on this page.
Questions about this policy or your data can be sent through the contact page on this site.
